Shipping policy
PROCESSING TIMES
We strive to pick, pack, and ship orders as fast as possible! Our current outbound shipments leave from the warehouse on Wednesdays and Fridays. Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST on an outbound shipping day will ship that day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST will ship the subsequent outbound shipping day. Processing times may be delayed for exceptionally large or bulky orders. Outbound shipping schedule subject to change without notice or be updated in accordance with locally recognized holidays.
TRANSIT TIMES
Shipments are predominantly sent via UPS Ground. Transit times from our warehouse in Windsor, ON are standard between 5-7 business days.
UPS transit times are calculated from the day the package is picked up from our warehouse. Our processing time is not included in the transit times above.
SHIPPING METHODS
The vast majority of orders are shipped via UPS Ground. Exceptionally large or bulky orders may be sent on pallets via LTL. Expedited shipping methods are available for an additional cost – please add a note to your order during checkout and we’ll contact you to provide options and rates.
PICK-UPS
Local customers can pick up orders at our warehouse locations in Milford, MI or Holland, MI. Please add a note to your order during checkout to request that we hold your order for pick-up. Shipping fees will be voided. Pick-ups are typically available according to our outbound shipping schedule (reference Processing Times section). Please contact Bill Belbot 248 705 6116 to schedule your warehouse pickup.
PO BOXES
UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. If you enter a PO box as your shipping address when placing your order, a member of our Customer Service team will contact you to obtain a different shipping address.
SHIPPING CHARGES
ORDERS SHIPPING TO A LOCATION WITHIN THE 48 CONTIGUOUS STATES:
Estimated shipping rates are displayed in your shopping cart for all orders. The shipping rate displayed in your shopping cart is an estimate only; your true freight charges may differ slightly from our estimated rates. Your final freight charges will be reflected on your invoice.
ORDERS SHIPPING TO HAWAII OR ALASKA:
Orders of $450 or more will receive a 25% discount off of normal UPS Ground rates. Orders under $450 will be charged the appropriate UPS Ground rates based on the overall weight and size of the order.
DELIVERY OR DROP-OFF:
Upon request, a delivery or drop-off of a boat can be handled by the Great Lakes Watercraft team. A fuel surcharge of $0.65 per mile will be charged. Depending on the order and drop-off location, an additional flat-rate fee may also be charged to cover costs.
ADDRESS CORRECTION
If you provide an incorrect or invalid shipping address when placing your order, UPS will attempt to correct the address so they can deliver your package(s). In this event, UPS charges an address correction fee of $13 per shipping carton. Great Lakes Watercraft reserves the right to pass along this address correction fee to you.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
CANADA:
Great Lakes Watercraft LLC is a US based company and Great Lakes Watercraft Canada LTD is a Canadaian based company. Great Lakes Watercraft LLC does not ship to Canada and Great Lakes Watercraft Canada LTD does not ship to the US.
THE CARIBBEAN & GUAM:
Orders shipping to a location in the Caribbean or Guam will be shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. Orders of $450 or more will receive a 20% discount off of normal USPS Priority Mail rates. Orders less than $450 will be invoiced at normal USPS Priority Mail rates.
