The 2024 Model Year Takacat features a pressure relief valve in the inflatable, air-deck floor. It also features welded seams as opposed to the cold-glued seams of the previous model year Takacats.

We sell automatic and semi-automatic inflators to save time and energy (the boat comes with a hand pump), quick release wheels to get you to the water with minimal effort, boat covers to protect the boat from the sun, and rod holders. We also have a tow kit and a davit kit if you intend to use the boat as a tender for your sailboat or yacht. If you do not already have an outboard motor, we highly recommend the Torqeedo 1103C short shaft. It is an very clean and elegant pairing with our boats. If you are planning to use a gas outboard, we highly recommend that you purchase a permatrim to help the boat get on to plane quickly and eliminate cavitation.
